Happy Valentines Day
February brings Valentines day and loads of activities for our facility.
Our residents enjoyed a variety of activities such as sunshine and water therapy, arts and crafts, and
ice-cream treats.
Chinese New Year Theme Day
We have also celebrated Chinese New Year as one of our theme days. Residents helped our staff create
a decrotive dragon.
Ralph, our guest speaker, dressed in traditional Mongolian garb and spoke about some of their New
Year’s traditions. Thank you Ralph, you were the highlight of the morning!
Fete & Open Day News
Sunnymeade will be holding a Fete in May. There will be a free sausage sizzle and free kids entertainment.
Items that will be available for sale: Cakes, Biscuits, Jams, Sweets, Pickles, Plants, Knick-Knacks,
Ornaments, Jewellery, Clothing Accessories, Crockery, Books, Crafts & Children’s Toys and
loads more.
We will also be incorporating an Open Day on same day, so you will be able to come in a view our facility
and what we have to offer for you and your family members.
Our Fete/Open Day will be held on Saturday 26th May from 10am until 2pm.
