Welcome to January 2018.
We have been up to a lot this month!

We have celebrated some more birthday milestones with our Birthday Morning teas.  Our Bowls
tournament has commence for 2018.  Good luck everyone.

Australia Day fesitivities started this year with the Police Pipe Band.  They were magnificient, and
really loud.  We also had an aussie sing-a-long, an australian slang quiz, and we also had a visit
from Wildlife HQ who brought a cuddly Koala, sugar gliders and a wallaby.  It was such a wonderful
day to meet these fury creatures, and they were all so soft to touch.

We also had a generous donation of Chocolates on Australia Day for our Residents, Thank you
Traditional Funerals, they were yummy and enjoyed by all.

This year we plan to reintroduce the “Fete”.

The fete will be held on Saturday 26th May.  A small committee has been formed to organize
the event.  Anyone who is willing to assist in anyway please see Teresa at Keith reception or
one of the Diversional therapists.  Keep an eye closer to May for more information.

Until Next time.
